Investigation:  Weather: 38 Degrees Partly sunny Moon Phase: Waxing Gibbous 62% full Solar X-Rays: Normal Geomagnetic Field: Quiet On April 13th,2008 L.C.P.G conducted an investigation of one of the old Shimer College buildings in Waukegan,Illinois (Shimer College is now located in Chicago). We listened to the claims of activity such as feelings of being watched, a young child seeing a man who said his name was 'Bob', (this was researched later and was found to be a previous owner named Bob) and a worker (there to remodel the place) stated he has seen a shadow of a person down a hallway when it was only himself and another guy working there.        The L.C.P.G. team conducted a 6 1/2 hour investigation of the building using a wide array of equipment (camcorders, digital voice recorders, thermocouples, E.M.F. detector, 4 I/R stationary cameras for the alleged hot spots.)        Some members of our team had some personnel experiences such as feelings of being watched, being pushed and just losing their balance, this only occurred on the 2nd floor. Other than that there were no other personnel experiences and we concluded our investigation around 2:00 A.M.        Our team then listened to about 6 1/2 hours of audio with nothing being found. We also viewed some 30 hours of video with only one instance where we see a dark mass resembling the shape of a person by the bottom of the staircase. This was caught via a camcorder. In this clip we see the shadow leave one room go into the foyer and fade away into the staircase.        Since our group investigates mainly via scientific methods and we do all we can to look for more mundane explanations of any evidence gathered, on 04-27-2008 3 of our team members will go back to this building in an attempt to do just that. We will do what we can to see if it was one of our team members casting a shadow from another room, a passing car casting a members shadow in that direction through the window, etc. If we can’t come up with a more reasonable explanation then that will leave only one conclusion.
